4、guageproficiency.Yet,developinglisteningskillsisnevereasyforthosewholearnaforeignlanguagewithoutgoingtotheforeigncountrieswherethetargetlanguageisspoken.Ittakeslittleinsighttoseetheimportanceoflanguageenvironmenteitherasamajorbarrierofacatalystinlisteningcomprehension.Its
5、eemsnaturalforchildrentostartspeakingtheirmothertongueassoonastheystartspeaking;itisalsocommonforscholarswhospendyearslearningaforeignlanguageandareabletoreadandwritewellyetdoingverypoorlyinoralcommunication.Thedifferencebetweenthetwoliesinthelanguageenvironmentasthechild
