4、,英语和汉语的颜色词反映了自己民族的颜色取向、社会心理、风俗习惯、宗教信仰等文化特点。因此对英语和汉语颜色词的文化内涵进行研究具有重要意义。文章主体阐述了英汉语言中基本色彩词的文化内涵，并介绍了几种相关翻译方法，举出了各种英汉汉英翻译的实例。通过对比英语和汉语基本颜色词的文化内涵，我们可以了解到民族的社会价值观、道德观以及文化的民族性和共同性。因此在翻译实践中重要的是如何突破文化障碍从而忠实有效地传达原文信息。本文分四个部分进行讨论。第一章首先,文章简要介绍了基本颜色词和文化两个概念以及回顾国内
