3、sretailinvestorsmarketmoversortrendfollowers?Ourstudyshowsthatstockswithhighlevels(orlargeincreases)ofinstitutionalholdingstendtoattractmoreretailattention.Sharepricesconsistentlyincreaseduringthe3-monthperiodpriortoretailherding;whilethemomentumdecaysrapidlyfollowingtheherding.Onav

4、erage,theincreaseonlylastsabout3days.Overthemediumterm(e.g.oneweekoronemonth),weobserveareversalinstockperformancepostretailherding.Thissuggeststhatretailinvestorsnormallybuyatthelaststageofarally;andretailherdingcouldserveasanexitsignal.Whatdoesthismeanforourinvestmentstrategy?Ourp
