2、overallpointofview.  Keywords:performance-relatedpay,overallvalue  Sinceatleastthelate1940s,theperformance-relatedpayhasbeenwellcreated(RedmanandWilkinson2009).Nowadays,itiscommonforworldwidecompaniestotakeperformance-relatedpay(PRP)systems.AsWhiteandDruker(2009)suggestthatalth

3、oughthejudgmentsappliedtobalancepaysystemhavealteredindifferentages,theperformance-relatedpayisrisingandplayamoreandmoreinfluentialroleinhumanresourcemanagement.Whyperformance-relatedpaysystemisfavoredbymanagers?Ithasitsownstrengths.WhiteandDruker(2009)arguethatpayingaccordingt

4、operformancesisacomparativelysimplemethodsinceitassociateswithresults,namely,theamountofoutcomes.However,theweaknessesofperformance-relatedpaycannotbeneglected.Inthis12essay,thedefinitionofPRPandmeritpaywillbestatedfirst;closely,differenttypesofpaymentsbyresultswillbeclarified.
