3、wehavesynthesized11strontiumandbariumboratesbythedifferentmethods,andthestandardmolarenthalpiesofformationofthosestrontiumandbariumborateshavebeenmeasured..Sevenstrontiumandbariumborates,SrB20l‘4H20,SrB407‘3.5H20,SrB6010·5H20,K2Sr[B405(0H)4】2’10H20,BaB6010’4.5H20,BaB20l‘4H20,K2Ba[B405(O
4、}D4】2‘8H20havebeensynthesizedbysolutionmethodatdifferenttemperaturesanddifferentcompositions.UsingtheSr(Ol歌’8H20,H3803asmaterials,wepreparedtwohydratedSt-borates,SrB20,’2.5I-120andSrB407‘3H20bythemethodsofhydrothermalreaction。ThroughthedehydrationofSra204’4H20andBaB204‘4H20,SrB204and13-
5、Ba9204wereprepared,respectively.Alloftheproductshavebeencharacterizedbychemicalanalysis,XRD,FF-IRandsimultaneousDTA-TGandhavebeenprovedtobethepuresamples,includingfourkindsofnewboratcs:SrB204‘2.5H20,SrB407‘3H20,SrB407‘3.5H20,BaB6010·4.5H20,andsevenkindsofreportedborates:SrB204,SrB204‘4H
6、20,SrB6010·5H20,K2Sr[B40s(OH)4]z-10H20,B—Ba8204,BaB204‘4H20,andK2Ba[B405(OH)1]2’8H20.Theenthalpyofsolutionoftheseelevensynthesizedpurestrontiumandbariumbomtesinlmol·L.1HCl(aq)weredeterminedbyheatconductionmicrocalorimeter.11”standardmolarenthalpiesofformationoftheseborateswereobtainedth
