4、entfundingfortheshipinFY2012,andisnotrequestinganyprocurementfundingfortheshipinFY2013.TheNavyplanstorequest$449millioninprocurementfundinginFY2014and$362millioninprocurementfundinginFY2015fortheshiptocover$811millionincostgrowthontheship.CVN-79isschedule
5、dtobeprocuredinFY2013.TheNavy’sproposedFY2013budgetestimatesCVN-79’sprocurementcostat$11,411.0million(i.e.,about$11.4billion)inthen-yeardollars,andrequests$608.2millioninprocurementfundingfortheship.TheshipreceivedadvanceprocurementfundinginFY2007-FY2012,
6、andtheNavywantstofullyfundtheshipinFY2013-FY2018usingsix-yearincrementalfunding.Currentlawauthorizestheuseoffive-yearincrementalfundingforprocuringCVN-79andCVN-80;theNavyisrequestingCongresstoamendcurrentlawtoauthorizetheuseofsix-yearincrementalfundingfor
7、procuringCVN-79andCVN-80.TheFY2013budgetproposestolengthentheconstructionperiodfortheshipbytwoyears,sothattheshipisdeliveredinSeptember2022,ratherthaninSeptember2020,asprojectedundertheFY2012budget.AlthoughtheshipisbeingprocuredinFY2013,thenewdeliverydate
