3、gDynasty(960-1279).IntheMing(1368-1644)andQing(1644-1911)dynasties,itgrewtobeamajorfestivalofChina.FolkloreabouttheoriginofthefestivalInremoteantiquity,thereweretensunsrisinginthesky,whichscorchedallcropsanddrovepeopleintodirepoverty.AheronamedHouYiwasmuchworriedaboutthis,heascendedtoth
4、etopoftheKunlunMountainand,directinghissuperhumanstrengthtofullextent,drewhisextraordinarybowandshotdowntheninesuperfluoussunsoneafteranother.Healsoorderedthelastsuntoriseandsetaccordingtotime.Forthisreason,hewasrespectedandlovedbythepeopleandlotsofpeopleofidealsandintegritycametohimtol
