5、hpedalwiththepurposeofdisengagementthetransmissionfromtheengine.Atthattime,thedrivenmembersconnectedtothetransmissioninputshaftareeitherstationaryorrotatingataspeedthatissloweroffasterthanthedrivingmembersconnectedtoenginecrankshaft.Thereisnospringpressureon
6、theclutchassemblyparts.Sothereisnofrictionbetweenthedrivingmembersanddrivenmembers.Asthedriverletsloosetheclutchpedal,springpressureincreaseontheclutchparts•Frictionbetweenthepartsalsoincreases•Thepressureexertedbythespringsonthedrivenmembersiscontrolledbyth
7、edriverthroughtheclutchpedalandlinkage.Thepositiveengagementofthedrivinganddrivenmembersismadepossiblethefrictionbetweenthesurfacesofthemembers.Whenfullspringpressureisapplied,thespeedofthedrivinganddrivenmembersshouldbethesame•Atthemoment,theclutchmustactas
