2、intisreached.Inthewell-knownthatastheloadisincreasedtowardthemaximumunconstrainedcase,theJacobianmatrixbecomessingularloadingcondition,theconventionalNewton-Raphsonpowerflowatmaximumloading,andthepowerflowsolutionwillnotJacobianmatrixbecomesincreasinglyill-conditioned.Asaresult,

3、convergewhenthesmallestsingularvalueofbecomestoothepowerflowfailstoconvergebeforereachingthemaximumsmall[4],[5].loadingcondition.Tocircumventthissingularityproblem,con-tinuationpowerflowmethodshavebeendeveloped.IntheseTocircumventthissingularityproblem,continuationpowermethods,t

4、hesizeoftheJacobianmatrixisincreasedbyone,andflowmethodsbasedonhomotopytechniqueshavebeendevel-theJacobianmatrixbecomesnon-singularwithasuitablechoiceoped[6],[7].Inthisapproach,aload-increasecontinuationpa-ofthecontinuationparameter.Inthispaper,weproposeanewrameterisintroduceda

5、sanadditionalvariable.Asaresult,methodtodirectlyeliminatethesingularitybyreformulatingthethesizeoftheJacobianmatrixisincreasedbyone,whichbe-powerflowproblem.Thecentralideaistointroduceanbuscomesnon-singularwithasuitablechoiceofthecontinuationinwhichthebusangleandthereactivepowe

6、rconsumptionofaloadbusarespecified.Forsteady-statevoltagestabilityanalysis,parameter.Thecontinuationpowerflowissolvedinatwo-stepthevoltageangleattheloadbuscanbevariedtocontrolpowerprocesswithapredictorstepandacorrectorstep,andrequirestransfertotheload,ratherthanspecifyingtheload
