3、chscenariosishowtomakemeshAccessNetworkAccessNetworknodesawareofthegatewayoverwhichdataissenttowardsthe2001:0620::/352001:0250::/35Internet.Thegoalofthispaperistoproposearoutingprotocol-independentmethodthatallowsnodesto(i)determinewhentheyareswitchingtheaccessnetwork;
4、(ii)tosupportswitchingofaccessnetworks;and(iii)tosupportmultihoming.I.INTRODUCTIONMeshInternetworkingbetweenwirelessmeshnetworksandtheGatewayInternetisacost-efficientwayofofferingubiquitousInternetWirelessNodeaccess.Insuchwirelessmeshnetworks,theinterconnectionWirelessM
5、eshNetworkwiththeInternetisprovidedbygatewaysconnectedtoaccessnetworks.Inlarge-scalewirelessmeshnetworks,multipleFig.1.AwirelessmeshnetworkconnectedtotheInternetthroughdifferentgatewaysareattachedtoamultitudeofdifferentaccessaccessnetworks.networks(seeFig.1).Whenanodei
6、nthewirelessmeshnetworkcommunicateswithanodeintheInternet,theIPpacketsarerelayedthroughthemeshtoanyoftheavailablenodeonlyindicatesthatapacketshouldbesenttoanygatewaygateways.Asaresult,whenanodemoves,routesinthemeshwithoutspecifyingit(see[8],[9]).Theroutingprotocolthenn
7、etworkmightchangeanditsIPtrafficisforwardedtoanotherroutesthepacketsinananycastmannertooneofthegateways.gateway.IfthesetwogatewaysbelongtothesameaccessInthefirstcase,anodeknowswhichgatewayitrelaysitsnetwork,werefertothiskindofmobilityasmicromobility,packetstoandthusisawa
