3、02;availableonline11July2002AbstractThecatalyticreductionofNOovercoal-derivedcharsandthecatalyticeffectofNaFeonNOemissionduringcharcombustionwereinvestigatedinaquartzfixedbedreactor.ThecatalyticcharacteristicsofNaandFeintheNOcharreactionwerestudiedandcom
4、paredindetail.TheresultsshowthatthecatalyticactivityofNadependsgreatlyonitsloadingamount,whiletheactivityofFeismoresensitivetotemperature.NaFecompositecatalystswerealsopreparedwithcharsassupport.SynergisticeffectwasfoundbothinthereductionofNOandthecharc
5、ombustion.TheNaFecompositecatalystsexhibitsignificantlyhighercatalyticactivitythanthemono-metalliccatalystswiththesamemetalloadingamount.ItisintriguingtonotethattheeffectivenessofthecatalystsonreducingNOemissionduringcharcombustionisinthesameorderasthati
