1、摘要20世纪90年代，我国基于高校自身发展的需要，又迫于高等教育国际化趋势在即，于是出现了优势互补的高校合并这一社会现象。这不仅是我国高等教育发展史上的一次飞跃，也是社会发展赋予高校发展的必然要求，更是为了顺应时代潮流的必然之举。因此，鉴于和谐社会建设要求建设高校和谐校园；合并高校在经济社会中的地位和份量要求我们关注合并高校和谐校园建设的特殊性：高校和谐校园建设实践呼唤思想政治教育发挥不可替代的作用，使得从思想政治教育的视角对合并高校和谐校园建设进行研究具有了实践意义和社会价值。本文主要对以下几方面进行了分析和研究：一是为什么选择从思想政治教育的视野对合并高校和谐校园建设进行研究，二是思想政治
